Michigan's Make A Difference Day - Project 2002
Project U. S. UPDATE

October 31, 2002, Ft. Campbell, Ky . . . . The Bloomfield Hills School District chose Project U.S. as their fifth year of participation in the annual nationwide community service event. Project U.S. works to provide support for our armed forces through care packages to servicemen and their families both here and abroad.

Students across the District came together collecting items and assembled them into "care packages" on Saturday October 26. They were then shipped to Ft. Campbell, Kentucky and arrived on October 31st.  

Ft. Campbell and Nashville Project U.S. coordinators and soldiers were on hand to help with the unloading.  You can tell from the pictures that the generosity and thoughtfulness of the friends from Michigan were well received.  

There are thousands of people to thank, but the generosity of some have made ideas turn into reality:
